DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
–
When tackling a design problem my approach is twofold: simplify and delight. By simplify I mean boiling down concepts to their most essential, basic elements–the fundamental point where it identity begins and things truly make sense. By delight I mean awe and surprise. Creating that moment where there’s a twinkle in your eye, where you find something so intriguing that your mind is forced to wonder "what's next." That’s what good design should do. It should educate and ask..It should tell you something and make you feel something new. I believe the journey of getting there is often just as beautiful as the end result.

HP WEBOS
Senior Visual Designer
It’s a rare and challenging opportunity to be given the chance to reboot a system UI and globally refresh the look and feel of every element. As HP was trying to redefine itself and standout from the crowd, my team strategized to relaunch what WebOS could be. Two things happened simultaneously:, one was to redefine the operating system and create another line of HP laptops powered by WebOS, and the other was to create a style uniquely WebOS.
